Dance Mat for Kids and Adults

I absolutely LOVE this for my kids and they love it as well.I have a 6 year old daughter and a 5 year old son and it keeps them entertained. There are so many fun games to choose from to get the whole family involved.i am giving it 4 stars because the mat,controllers,and gun all need batteries.it would be more convenient if they were rechargeable. It is extremely easy to hook it up to the TV and I think it is worth the money because there are so many different games to choose from and it comes with everything you need.its pretty good quality the controllers are plastic like I cheaper plastic so I'd recommend Being careful with them.

This is a great little system. There are so many, probably too many games on this. Set up is extremely easy. Easy to use. My 3 year year old is running this system. All ages here from 3-43 and all in between and there is definitely something for everyone. Great system that allows and convinces the whole family to play together . Great game selection, from fun and entertaining, to education and fitness. Good quality materials. I like how small the system is. We can take it with us if needed.When considering the price, I have to keep in mind how expensive other systems are. Systems without built in games. Systems that don't always come with accessories. I think the price seems fair!

Thought I would try this out for the kids. I think it is a decent value for the money. The kids enjoy stomping all over the "dance pad". Certainly can't ask for too much more for the price, but was a little difficult to find the way around the menus. Plenty to do on this game, and it seems to recognize the inputs reliably. Would be 5 stars if there were more recognizable songs to play, or ways to add your own, but can't complain really.

I grew up in the 70s and 80s, and my first video game was Pong, and then I had an Atari, and an Intelevision, before finally getting a Nintendo and Super NES. Out of all the games growing up, Super NES was my favorite, so this game system brings back memories because there's a lot of games I recognize, including Galaga, which was my favorite arcade game. I have to say I laughed, tho, when I saw this game console. It fits in the palm of my hand!! And it's pink. But it's entertaining to someone of my age. I prefer the older games, before you had to learn to press all these different combinations to just execute one move. And this has plenty of games. I've only skimmed the surface. I found a chess game, that lets you remove the last moves, and since I've never learned to play chess, I now have the chance. I can learn from this, where I was never able to learn from other methods. Anyway, there's plenty to keep an old fuddy duddy like me happy. But I haven't tried the mat. And I may not for awhile. All in all, I can say it's at least as good as I expected, though there are quite a few notable games that aren't on there, that I would like. But I do have those games on another system. My biggest complaint is that I haven't been able to try the gun. The screw is in there so tight that I can't get it out to put batteries in it. My son tried and he wasn't able to, either. We may have to break it if we can't figure out something. So I took off a star for that.

This really took me back to when I was a kid with the power pad and gun. For the most part the games were fun for me but my young nieces didn't seem to enjoy it quiet as much. They are used to better control gameplay of games today. The pad worked alright, it is crinkly though when there is stepping on it. It did lay flat. The gun is a little large for small hands but I was able to control it just fine. Overall it was nice to be able to capture my childhood again and share it with others.
